For the past 26 years, Lisa Raffay has been the sole owner of House of Fitness, improving the nutrition and fitness of dedicated residents in Corona Del Mar, Newport Coast,
Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Irvine. House of Fitness has been in business
longer than any other training facility in the area.

Gabor Raffay has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 1998.
He specializes in orthopedic rehab and a variety of neurological injuries.

    I grew up in Santa Cruz running around soccer fields, softball diamonds, redwood forests and wide open beaches.
    Since moving to Orange County, I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology after 10 years of personal training, in both outpatient gyms and in patient clinical settings. I have 4 licenses (NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, GGS Pre/Post Natal Personal Training, GGS Menopause Personal Training) and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
    Currently, I am currently enrolled in a program Doctor of Physical Therapy (Class of 2028), to fulfill my childhood dream of being a DPT. I have worked at HOF for 5 years, going on 6. I love working with clients and patients who are interested in pain free exercise programs that keep them engaged in their life and communities.

    B.S. Kinesiology – NASM Certified Personal Trainer
    Former baseball player, lifelong gym rat, and movement enthusiast. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University, where I developed a deep understanding of biomechanics, injury prevention, and performance training.
    With over 8 years of experience, I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life — from athletes and weekend warriors to individuals overcoming significant physical challenges — across a variety of settings including:

    -Adaptive fitness clinics for individuals with neurological or life-altering conditions (e.g., cerebral palsy, paraplegia, multiple sclerosis)

    -Outpatient and inpatient physical therapy clinics

    -Commercial and private gyms

    -In-home and one-on-one training sessions

    -And now, House of Fitness!

    As a former pitcher, I have a special interest and expertise in shoulder health and rehabilitation, helping clients restore pain-free movement and strength. My approach blends injury prevention, athletic performance, hypertrophy, and strength training to deliver results that not only look great — but feel great, too.
